Coop Pillow Review: Helps Relieve Neck Pain

Updated: Oct 17, 2023

As a dedicated sleep enthusiast in search of optimal comfort and support, I recently tried the Coop Pillow, a product several of my patients have recommended.

The Coop Pillow is designed with adjustable filling so it suits individual sleep needs and positions. The shredded memory foam feels very different than a solid memory foam pillow. Remarkably, it doesn't sleep hot, a common complaint with memory foam. The pillow feels closer to the billowy comfort of a down-filled pillow but does a far better job supporting the neck and head.

The pillow's fill can be adjusted to suit one's desired loft and thickness. Whether you prefer a lofty pillow (ideal for side sleepers) or a flatter one (better for back sleeping), this pillow can cater to your dominant sleep pattern.

I encourage consumers to hold products accountable for outcomes. When you wake up after sleeping on the pillow the first time, notice if there is any change in neck stiffness, pain or range of motion. You may need to tinker to dial in the right amount of filling. If you are a side sleeper, it helps to have a spouse or friend verify that your spine looks straight. They will look to see if the cervical (neck) spine is in alignment with the remainder of your spine.

Before using your pillow the first time, toss. it in the dryer and run on the fluff (no temp) cycle for about 15 minutes. Here's wishing you a lovely night's sleep!
